Studio privacy policy

1. Who is responsible for your data
PRINTAGS SAS, 37 rue Sainte Geneviève, 69006 Lyon, France (SIREN 983 622 630). Contact: [email protected].
This page applies to studio.printags.com and to the connection between the Studio and AI assistants such as ChatGPT. It complements our legal notice, our terms of sale and the general Printags privacy policy.
2. The data we process
When you order on the Studio
- First and last name, e-mail address, delivery and billing addresses, phone number (optional) and VAT number for businesses.
- The files you send for printing (PNG, JPEG, PDF) and what you ask to be written on the NFC chips (a link or a text).
- Payment is entered with Stripe, our payment provider: we neither receive nor keep your card number.
When an AI assistant prepares a cart for you (ChatGPT, for example)
The assistant only sends us what is needed to prepare the cart: the products and quantities, the artwork you attached to the conversation, the NFC chip content, your country and your language. Your name, address, e-mail and payment never go through the assistant: you enter them on the Studio after opening the cart link. No account is needed to prepare a cart.
A cart prepared by an assistant only becomes an order if you open the link, approve the proof (BAT) of your cards and pay.
Technical data
- Your IP address and the anonymous identifier that the assistant's platform sends us are only used to limit abuse (number of calls per hour). These counters stay in the server's memory and are not saved in a database. As with any website, our host and Cloudflare may keep the IP address in their technical logs.
- Usage statistics of the connection with assistants (tool called, duration, success or failure, client name), measured with PostHog, without the content of the exchanges or the IP address.
- Cookies and audience measurement on the website: see the consent banner, available at the bottom of every page.
3. Why we use it
- To prepare, manufacture, ship and track your order, and to send you the related e-mails (performance of the contract).
- To protect the service against abuse and keep it secure (legitimate interest).
- To measure and improve the service (legitimate interest; your consent for audience-measurement cookies).
- To meet our legal obligations, in particular accounting and tax.
4. Who receives your data
- Our host (see the legal notice) and Cloudflare, to deliver and protect the website.
- Our host (see the legal notice), for the database and file storage.
- Stripe, for payment. Resend, to send order e-mails. PostHog, for usage statistics.
- Our printing partners and carriers, to manufacture and deliver your order.
- The assistant's platform: if you use ChatGPT, OpenAI processes the content of your conversation under its own terms. Printags only receives what the assistant sends through the tools described above.
We do not sell your data. Any transfers outside the European Union are described in the general Printags privacy policy (in French).
5. How long we keep it
- A cart prepared by an assistant and never opened: deleted automatically, with its files, at the latest 72 hours after it was prepared (the link is valid for 48 hours).
- A file uploaded by an assistant but attached to no cart: deleted by the daily cleanup, within 25 hours.
- Rate-limit counters (IP address, anonymous identifier): kept in memory for one hour at most, and erased whenever the service restarts.
- Order data: for as long as needed to manage the order and meet our legal obligations (in particular accounting and tax).
6. Your rights and choices
- You can simply not open the link of a cart prepared by an assistant: nothing becomes an order and the cart is deleted.
- You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection provided by the GDPR. To exercise them: [email protected].
- You can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
